How height can u heap up?

Tap the screen to drop the "totem pole" and heap up more any more!!
Push the "completion button" to tie up the tower if you estimate that you cant heap up any more.
However,you cant tap the "completion button" and drop the "totem pole" either,when the lamp is red.
